Mood Board

Project Goal

The goal of this project was to create a line of toys that explore gender identity. This LGBTQ+ friendly toy line creates a unique avenue for self expression and countless hours of mix-matchable play. Appealing to both kids and collectors, these figures use the cottagecore aesthetic; which in itself is a niche part of the LGBTQ+ community.

With this line of action figures, we hope to strengthen community, acceptance, and self discovery.

The concept of this product is to make three poseable action figures. All of which will have the ability to swap body parts between each figure.

Focused Character Design | The Wolf

The wolf represents traditionally masculine character traits. The design is sharp and angular due to the triangular and square shape language.

The original character traits were meant to be sly, untrustworthy, manipulative, and carnivorous. However, the design evolved over time and the wolf character took on more heroic attributes.

Sketching Process

From the initial character designs these five designs were created. Out of the five, three designs were chosen based on their shape language and resemblance to the original sketches.
