First Planter Model
Project Goal & Target User
Model One | For the Tobacco User
Model One allows for tobacco users to use their houseplant as an ashtray without damaging the plant's leaves or stem.
With this technique, the plant will be able to utilize any leftover minerals or nutrients in the ashes. This will also neutralize the ashes of any cigar, cigarette, or smokable cannabis.
Sketching Process
The form language of the Model One planter was geometric with chamfered edges. The trapezoid shaped planters provided a strong base to support the weight of plant life, while also being visually appealing.

Second Planter Model
Project Goal & Target User
Model Two | For the Avid Indoor Gardener
Model Two is designed for users who have a multitude of indoor plants. This kind of user may potentially be running out of available shelf room for more plants, so a wall hanging design would be ideal.
With twice the planting space while also having a discreet, out-of-the-way wall design, this style of Orna Planter is great for someone with lots of indoor gardening experience.

Third Planter Model
Project Goal & Target User
Model Three | For the Forgetful User
It happens to the best of us, forgetfulness. This planter is a smart planter that uses LED lights to notify the user of the plants soil humidity. That way, the user will never forget to water their house plants again!
This planter specifically will aim to be sustainable. By using recycled plastic, the final design will be both eco-friendly and fashionably unique.
